I ask myself the same questions every morning when I wake up. I like to medicate myself with Zyprexa in order to escape, and fall into a deep sleep that I call my second reality.
But you're right, its not a place of true substance....its where we can walk dumbly and blindly into walls. Dreams are our manifestations of our greatest desires, most painful tragedies and hidden lusts. but at least its a place where we can still dream of places our hearts would instantly falter in real life.....

i daydream more than I do dream at night.Wanting the best but expecting the worst.Knowing that all it takes is effort on my part for the day to be the best day of my life.Everyone has a dream in life;but only a handful will ever come true.Life has it's on way of making dreams fade away into the background.Still there is always hope.

what's scary isn't so much not knowing if you are awake or dreaming... a feeling I'm sure everyone has had... it's scary when you wish you were that person in a dream or that yo could do the things that were done in the night's previous slumber. "It is no place to build a house" but when you lay in bed, staring at the ceiling while the alarm clock is still ringing and all you can do is think... that this is as good as your life gets... blue prints for the house become the next great desire to fret over.
