I keep thinking about my ex-girlfriend. All the while, I’ve been going on (well, went on) a date with someone my mom found in a Korean magazine. True story. She’s a post-doc in biotech, but I’m not really attracted to her in any sexual way. Doesn’t that have to be a pre-requisite when you’re supposed to want to marry someone? Because it doesn’t really seem to be, as far as my parents are concerned. They tell me I’m not getting any younger, to settle for whatever I can get.... Secretly I refuse to ever do so, but I will go through the motions of dating these women they find from whatever source they can. I keep thinking about my ex-girlfriend. Somehow I think she’s going to come back into my life — it has happened before. Now her — I’d shtup her in a second.
