Some more from my greater madness. From the same mental institution where I did this:
My brain was all over the place, as you see, from association to association — however strange those associations were. The white-outs are names of people I know (or knew).

The emoticon I need is 'puzzled'. Does this mean anything to you now Stand?

It seems all of us write when we are in the grips of madness. I have 36 pages of rambling thoughts from when i was in the hospital, most of it still makes sense to me though.

I can see why you'd be puzzled. It's some weird stuff. I was pretty far gone when I did this page, and it means very little to me these days — just a snapshot of madness. Relatively sane, right now.

Why do you keep it?

It's a sort of nostalgia. Even I, with the past that I have, like to remember where I've been. Not to run from it, too, but to face what I used to be like.

do some research on the human brain. you will be suprised on how it works. you seem like you have a lot on your mind (like most of us). don't worry so much. take the bull by the horns. life is what YOU make it. you only live once, make the best of it.

Good advice in theory enlightener- in practice not so easy to do. Personally I don't think that you do only live once but you do only have this body once.
I agree with you Stand when you say you should face up to your past but there comes a time when you have to let it go and live in the now. Maybe you haven't reached that point yet but it's very liberating to get rid of crappy old stuff that ties you to an emotional past.
