I am a believer in the unseen. "For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." [2 Corinthians 4:18, NKJV] Perhaps it is a hangover from the madness that I believe in things not visible to us. Perhaps it is subtler than that, though. I was once a devout atheist and materialist, a classic "rational" late twentieth century young man, who believed only in things that I could see or had some firm evidence for. Now that I am a believer, it is not that I am fundamentally different from what I was back then. It is that I think that salvation is a very personal business, that each person must be shown certain things for them to have basis for their own faith. Simply put, I have been shown, personally meaningful to me, enough in my own experience that to doubt would be to fly in the face of the evidence, that my faith is the only rational conclusion I can make given what I have been through.
Such is why I think there is an unseen world: God being the epitome of that world, and God the being of my faith. I say not that the unbeliever is wrong not to believe, for they personally must be shown beyond the understanding of their own doubt. But then, I ask that those people think me not wrong to believe what I do, for I am more like you atheists out there than you might care to concede, of a heart which may be very familiar to the way you comprehend this great big world.

the time that i had has passed me away leaving me stranded in chaos and dismay hurt and torn up never to be the same again give me pain and sorrow never to be happy again we are here to destroy one another not to love but to hurt not to love but to hate if i could be normal again would i let it happen or would i still want to be like this when does the pain and suffering end or when does it truly begin when can i have fun when can i accept myself when can i truly love another when can i forget when can i find a reason why cant i end it why do i remain why cant i let go when will it end or do i have to end it will time pass me by or will i pass time by what will happen to me

For Robert: The world you are brought into from birth begins to teach you that you must become an civilized human being. that you must not disrupt society. it does this at a very early age by teaching you to eat with a fork, not your hands. they teach you to keep order . you learn in school that you must stand in line for almost everything (lunch, ect.) they teach you to do as your told or you will be punished in some way (ex: no homework- no TV )they teach responsibility - earn your keep or you won't eat. I think you get the piont by now. However i've said (typed) all of this to say there is not alot of time (almost none) spent on understanding where true happiness comes from. Most people only find happiness in their money, status, ect. really what they feel good about is security which can be destroyed at any moment. Other's find God because they need someone or something other than them selves to believe in. We are not taught that we have only our selves in this life everything else is extra. you and only you can make yourself happy. If someone or or something else is making you sad then then you have given your inner strengh (power)over to someone or something else. that is where your belief is. that is where your happiness lies. That is where you have lost yourself. Nothing is more upsetting than we when don't get what we want. Or when things don't go our way. Or when we try so hard and everythiong just blows up in our face. Or when someone we love leaves us alone (or even dies.) Life can deal us some very bad hands , But i don't beleive there is some God looking down from "heaven" saying "how about that Robert? he is going to live a life of misery." Life is a mystery anything can happen to anyone. None of us are special unless you are Jesus Christ. None of us are above one another. We are taught to believe that the more you have or the better life treats you , the better you are than others.The sadness or hurt you feel could be anyones . your pain is just a drop in the bucket of sorrow. when you take time to get to know your self, to discover what it is about you that you like- or maybe you need to work on healing a deep emotional wound only you know why you are unhappy.And if you cannot make yourself happy no one else can. People can talk to and try to help you work through your troubles but if your happiness come from outside of yourself it is only an illusion.

i don't know what this sight is about, and i don't know who you people are, but i want you to know kimberly and robert that there is a God and He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sin. maybe you both believe and know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, however if you don't i would encourage you both to drop what the world has been telling you and to seek Him as your savior. For sonce the creation of the would His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and divine nature, so that all men are without excuse. Rom. 1:20. Also for God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16. Jesus also said "come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and i will give you rest. take My yoke upon you, and learn from me, and you will find rest for your souls. for my yoke is easy and my burden is light." having said this seek God and He will truly "never leave nor forsake you".
